If the upgrade & repairs go well. NASA expect Hubble to remain in service for a further 5 to 10 yrs.

The new WFC3 camera, is using CCD43-62 sensors built here in the UK & where delivered to NASA in 2000/ 01. The new camera is expected (if I remember test results correctly) to produce images with 10 times the resolution of the WFC2 camera its replacing.
