Hi Daff, I joined FB so you may have deleted me as a friend (its my full name) but don't worry lol I never learnt to use it properly anyway ;) only keeping it open in case I 'lose' someone off here that is on there (if you can follow that lol)

I had a skip through last night and found a few people's photo's that are connected to here... wow what a surprise to see they looked totally different to how I imagined lol.. my photo is not on there , or anywhere come to that thank goodness :)) I have only a few good photo's of me...all taken when I was little and cute lol

Hi Taff, Yes its right. My Son has a degree in computer stuff so he usually knows what he's talking about too. There has been an awful lot of problems in USA apparently too with Face book.

Posh, your son and mine are right, i know for a fact that the local paper accesses it and takes things, i.e memorials written, and then posts them in the local paper as their own!!

I don't have a Face book account as my Son warned me against it when it first came out....He said it was unsafe and easily 'hacked' into.

Stray, I haven't posted many... cat when she was a kitten, with my dog who died 6 years ago (My atavar) a glammed up me from about well, quite a few years ago... and my back garden. Before and after!! I was gonna put up a recent one with my nice shiny head... but I haven't been able to get it to download from the e-mail my SiL sent with it on!! lol So glad I didn't... although not bothered really, I have never worn a wig, and only wore a hat to keep my head warm!! I go GI Jane, I do!!

Jean I am feeling absolutely brilliant, even with a throat infection and a cough, lol..... getting energy back at long last!! Mwah!

So please come and rescue me, someone, if I'm not back in an hour or so, it means I am lost on Facebook!!

Click on Applications, bottom left. It will come under 'Games' or similar or another way is to click on one of your friends who plays Scrabble, click on their game and it will take you straight through.

Joy, I'm not sure who a couple of them are, as they gave *real names* and when I clicked to find more out about them.... I found I'd added them, lol!! I know I'm a numpty.... but it feels safer to cancel it all and start on a fresh page, so to speak, lol Still haven't found scrabble... but my wits are better these days, lololol.

Daff.... I have an account but have no idea how to use it. I just send messages to friends on it because I'm too lazy to send an e.mail lol.

I can understand how worrying it must be if you are on what you think is a secure site and then find out all and sundry can access your private information and use it for their own ends.

Daff you need to go to the settings menu. Settings can be found on the blue bar at the top between your name and log out.

Daff, after reading the goings on, I'm sooo pleased my sons woudln't let me join! ( and thats just because theyre on there)!

just block your unwanted prying eyes daff
then set you privacy setting to friends only

Most of my friends on Facebook are from GR... I am not impressed with the security so have decided to close my account there... I'm always flippin lost on it, anyway!! I shall probably be back when I have worked out the security thing!!

Edit, I have decided to have a cull... if your name goes, and you are using a different name that I don't know on Facebook.... I might delete you accidentally!! Those are the ones I am worried about, really! xxxx
