Two limited edition prints by a Canadian artist Roger Witmer ....and two prints that no one else wanted , even for £2 lol... Cries of London, street sellers,
" Two bunches of primroses a penny" and the other "A new love song only a ha'penny a piece" ,

they will remind me of seeing 'Oliver' in London last week :)

Just googled him, not something I'd buy but they are nice if you get what I mean lol

The other two will, as you say, provide you with some wonderful memories :-)

Hi Cat, the two I have aren't on his site and I think are better . 'crisper' I would say , and maybe the framing makes a difference also :)

Hey Rose - just googled your Artist - some lovely works there - which prints did you get?

Not exactly what I might buy, although I was quite taken with the English Garden one (have you seen it?) because my taste in art is governed by a single person within a painting (not portraits particularly) and there is just one person in the background. I rather liked it))))

You enjoy your art love - it helps the world go round.

Nice work Rose, I looked on the inventory clearance section and there are some lovely ones I like but no space for them so have to hold back lol
Enjoy your Cries of London prints, I love pictures that evoke a memory as well as being pleasing on the eye.

Jac, one is 'The blacksmith shop St Jacobs' with horse and carriage and the other is "St Jacobs Old Mill" with two passing horse/ carriages...not my usual choice but I like the 'movement' in them and the impression of a 'small town'' life :)

actually just looking on his site, he has changed style quite considerably these are dated '92 and much cleaner lines and more 'photographic' in style and colouring.

I'm a sucker for pictures Liz lol...the most expensive thing I have ever bought for myself is a large watercolour of woodland, £80 but I absolutely love it :))
