When I worked as an Auxilliary nurse a long time ago, we had a Muslim Gentleman on the ward and one of the other AN's tried to give him a boiled ham sandwich and salad for his tea and when he very politely refused she had a hissy fit, G.. she said anyone would think I'd offered him a bacon sandwich???!!!! |

I just asked my son what he wanted with his salad tea tonight, I said "do you want some of that ham in the fridge?" He replied " Oh no, I smelt it before and it smelt vile, it smelt of Pork! He's 32 by the way........ |
