Not sure what's been going on but it's been absolute mayhem down my road this morning.

It usually takes me 30-45 mins to go down to the shops at the other end, just over a mile away, on the bus, and back again. Today, there are police everywhere, a helicopter overhead, the lights further down are out of sync, letting three cars at a time INTO the city, and then 5 mins letting cars OUT, so traffic is backed up almost to my flat, and coming into my road from the city centre from all directions!

I wish we could find out somewhere what the police helicopters have been dragged out for LOL

Perhaps a nutter has escaped TW??

It's just the Telegraph taking ariel photos of Conservative estates/moats.

More often than not we will see heavy traffic when something has happened on the ring road nearby, which usually backs up the traffic. This time the helicopter was to the north of my road, nowhere near the ring-road, and the police in my road were only watching....

Its all seemed like an accident happened somewhere, but not sure where.

So far, my local MP hasn't been mentioned, seems to be squeaky clean, at least as far as expenses go....

If I go into the City centre I prefer to go on a Sunday, it's much nicer, though the market is closed.

Never mind, got a nice piece of brisket for pot roast tomorrow, and some veg and local asparagus.

Oh, I see.

The wind has really got up here, the tree outside ( a huge lime) is swaying loads. I might lose internet later, the phone lines go through it's branches and I often lose it in windy weather.

Merlin, I don't think I could upset anyone in the labour party more than they have upset themselves lately LOL
