Is there away to transfer money from one bank to another bank, online??

Jude, you should be able to just log into your bank stuff, go to transfers and then set it up from there. Long as you have the sort code etc.

Yes, it's straightforward enough.
As Whirley says, go into your on-line banking, then put the other person's bank details in as a 'payee' or 'payment to' or whatever the term is with your particular bank. You should be given the option of paying immediately or you can fill in the date you want the payment to be made.

If you can't find where to do it Jude, you may have to look at 'payments' not transfers, we do with our bank.

Thanks for the replies, sorry for the delay......l have tried it a couple of times and it does'nt recognise the 8 digit number l enter. l have tried using "payment to someone" and that does'nt work, willhave another go at transfers. If not l'll have to take it into the bank....grrr
