	I heard on the 1.30pm news on the radio that ITV is selling FR. Monies being banded around are for about £40 squillion. Will we be next I wonder? Aileen xxx

	This selling off of FR has been in the offing for quite a while now as ITV can't afford to keep the site going even with all the revenue they have had from the site after they bought it from Steve.

	I guess its cos the only revenue they get now is from advertising. Members tailed off from the site so they then offered free membership but in my opinion its gone past its sell by date and doesn't offer what people want now So many free sites have overtaken Friends Reunited, I will always be grateful though to the site that I found my old best friend from school some fifty years after we last made contact, Me & OH visit them every year for a weeks stay. we came from SE London and now live in Kent & my friend and her OH now live in Wiltshire. I never go on Friends site now although I am still a member. Shirley
