Uzzi did you go to messenger home and click sign in for it to reload from there ~ your pics will be safe if you still have a problems from home page click the contact link and they will advise you of the next step x |

No its connected to your service provider a good way to check is find a kind soul to bring up your messenger on their pc they should be fine |

I had same problem when my laptop went down I was able to access messenger but my pics were locked I contacted them and told them about my hard drive they were able to sort the prob all my pics were intact I do hope you can retrieve yours also |
