Hi Stephanie,
Hope the site helps you - let me know if you find what you are looking for on it.
I've also found this site that may help you. Its the Genweb site that has a site for all the States in USA.
This one is for California.

It also has Vital records on if you look through the links - go to the
"California Research helps" and then look at all the links there - the Vital Records are listed there.

Hi,
I have no experience with bmd for California. Each State does things differently - some are online and others you have to write to a certain address in the State concerned.
I've just done a quick google and found this for you - have no idea if it will help you or not. There might be other links too if you have a look on google.
