Well maggie, now I know how I should behave. I should say only things you approve of, or ... hmm. You will get passive-aggressive and dictatorial.

Okey dokey!

"Geraldine", on the other hand, has just thanked me for the PM offering help at working the PM system at GR to make contact with John ...

Just thought your comment 'we don't now need another perpetual thread about the same thing?' seemed a bit aggressive and dictatorial.
If people want to put up threads about the same thing - so be it.

You're welcome, maggie!

I assume you were interested in that thread, or you wouldn't be here.

So I assume you saw, in that thread, my efforts to assist in putting John in touch with the person in question.

So I assume that, knowing all that, you posted what you did because ... well, you just felt an overwhelming urge to be passively-agressively unpleasant. Would I be right?

In view of the latest comments in that thread, it also seems worth noting that John's sister would have found his thread by googling if there had been only one post in it, no matter how long ago.

Perhaps all threads should relate to what interests you, Janey!!

That is the thread. Copy, paste and go!

And actually, it was on page two as of now.

Hopefully this means we don't now need another perpetual thread about the same thing?

Hi,

I know, just shows perseverance pays off, such a nice ending to the story, I met my family after 40 years in Johns case it will be over 60 !

Now all we have to do is hope Eileen on her finds her sister, she too has been looking for her sister adopted from the war years.

Good Luck to all those still searching :O) x
