Noooooo not GR members ...the film :) follow up to the Da Vinci code.

Went to see it last night, anyone seen it? Was supposed to be seeing 'Night at the museum 2' but got the day wrong (!) so went to see that instead... 12A cert but a bit gruesome I thought ,self-immolation etc , (though son didn't seem too bothered lol, he was too interested in the Large Hadron Collider and anti-matter )

, so be cautious if you take a youngster .

xx

Morning ladies

Will definitely go to see this film, I loved the Dan Brown Books but found the last film lacking after reading the book, but of course this does happen a lot as they can't put as much in the film as in the book

okay I'm babbling again sorry...lol

Not read the books Barbara.... won't spoil the film for those who haven't seen it, but on a general note found the location shots all round Rome very enticing :)

Morning All:)

I must be the only person in the world who didn't like the Da Vinci Code. I saw the film on telly last week and thought it was even worse than the book and Tom Hanks was absolutely awful.

I've got Angels & Demons to read, given to me by a friend, but haven't had the courage to start it yet so I don't think I'll bother with the film lolol.

Jean.

Good idea Mo lol...I jumped a few times I admit :)

Jean, I think reading the book is probably better.. you will get much more detail that was rushed through probably...quite a long film but the pace was fast.

just as a general question ...why do 'side kicks' in this case the scientist searching for the anti-matter along with Tom Hanks, have to be beautiful women? why could it not have been a short balding man, with a beer gut LOL

Jean - I enjoyed the book 'Angels and Demons' more than 'Da Vinci', but I have to say neither really grabbed me and they are very 2-dimensional. OK for a quick page-turner but that's all. Haven't seen either film - may watch when it comes on TV but wouldn't bother to go to the cinema.
