What about Coraline. An amimated film but looks good.

In the film, a young girl (voiced by Dakota Fanning) walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life - only much better. But when this wondrously off-kilter, fantastical adventure turns dangerous, and her counterfeit other mother (voiced by Teri Hatcher) tries to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her stubborn determination, bravery, and the aid of her neighbours and a talking black cat to save her real parents and some ghost children and get back home.

I bet she'll love it!

Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus What´s the plot?

School girl Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) finds herself struggling to juggle school, friends and her secret pop-star persona, ‘Hannah Montana’. When Hannah Montana’s increasing popularity starts to threaten to take over Miley’s life, she might just let it! Her father steps in and takes her home for a dose of reality!

However, when they arrive Miley finds herself on the kind of fun, laughter and romance filled adventure - that even pop princess Hannah couldn’t imagine.

If you liked ‘The Princess Diaries’ and ‘Crossroads’, you’ll love ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’.
