The tree can cope with multiple spouses, provided there is no inter-relationship but it is best to use Family view, rather than Full View to see the effect.

However, the tree can't cope with multiple relationships for parties who are already related, such as cousins marrying and one of the parties needs to be entered twice.

Your case sounds a bit unusual. Where did you enter your grandfather, and against who?

No - it can't.

You either show the relationship as you want it shown on your off-line tree and upload a gedcom (and no I don't understand those) or try asking if GR can "fix" it. They used to be able to do that.

Why are there two entries for my Grandfather on my tree? He married twice firstly to my Mum's Mum & then after they were both widowed to my Dad's Mum.
There are two separate entries for him-can't the tree cope with the fact this is the same person & he had two spouses.
Help!
