I was thinking that ......I know he hadnt joined the army by Dec 1912 as thats when he married.....my Granddad and his bother were from my GGrandmothers first marriage I wonder if that has anything to do with it????

Hayley depends on age could be working away, or at a friends/family house for the night. As Moonchild said could be at sea,

or erummm you could always look for the prison records>>>>>>>>>>>>runs

To loose a grandfather is remiss,
But to loose a great uncle as well is pure carelessness.

Hayley just cos he married in 1912 don't mean he hadn't joined the army. They did allow them to marry ! worth checking and is the lost brother older or younger and when did he marry ?

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 20 May 2009 17:23

The brother is 2 years older....he married in the summer 1912...I mean on Grandads wedding cert his occuption isnt solider....
