Hi they lived in Driffield east yorkshire there names are Alfred savage and Mary J Parker they married sept 1921

Can you tell me what region they lived, as I subscribe to Ancestry, and can put the surname in and date, and it will tell if the maiden name is Parker at this time, but to save me trawling through loads of names, would help to have district.

I hope you find all those things out i have found an uncle i did not know i had and that my mother spent a week in a childrens home because of neglect (sad reading ) i now have more questions get frustrated because i can not always get the answers but its so interesting

when I started doing my tree everyone in the family thought that I was mad, my sister still does, but my brother has got interested in our dads side, anyway after I looked at the 1911 census and found out that grandad lied about a few things I found out where his mother died and my brother sent off for her will.

O what a family we have, we never met any of our g aunts or uncles on that side of the family and my dad never spoke of them, but my g grandmother only died 4 years before I was born. Yet dad was always going on about his other grand parents. I hope that I can find some living relations that can shed a light and give me some answers.

Just thought I would share this with you.

FreeBMD will show any children born before about 1930 if you enter the surname and mothers maiden name.

There is this one in Driffield where they married.

Births Mar 1922 (>99%)

I have just today found the date of my grandfathers second marriage in 1921 can i look on line and find out if he had any children from that marriage his name was alfred savage he married mary j parker in sept 1921
