one of my sister in laws friends buried her husband two years ago and last year she buried her father,and now her son of 25 is dying this is such ablow for this family,all of the same thing cancer,

Oh Dutch, that poor woman, I hope she will find a way to cope with such sadness - may her son have a peaceful passing, if not a miracle so he recovers.

Most have pondered this question of tragedies in families and particularly of those events which seem to touch us more than others. The way I try to explain it to myself is to put words in God's mouth (and I do not know whether this would be classed as blasphemy). So he says, "Beloved, I know how you feel, for I lost a son once!" I share this, not to bring healing for that is his role, but it may bring hope. If words seem empty this verse is assuring, “the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words” Romans 8:26.

It is awful how families seem to go from one tragic event to another, and others seem to sail through life.......I will send up a prayer for this lady.....
