IMO a whooshed thread is one that I spend ages writing a post to only to find it gone when I HIT SEND!!!

Think I'm right ...

A deleted thread is when the thread owner deletes it themself

A whooshed thread can either be GR whooshing it or perhaps the thread owner.

Probably totally wrong lol
