I was edging slowly out of a junction slip road, a large van was passing on the main road, when the car behind me rammed my back end!! We exchanged details and then she started on at me that it was me at fault!! like I was going to pull into a road I couldn't see behind the van, she says I braked, maybe I did touch the brake but then why couldn't I use them to control the car? And why the heck was she NOT paying attention, and why was she tailgaiting me? She was right up my end and WHY has she made me feel guilty???

I used to work in insurance and anybody who goes into the back of another vehicles it is there fault for not driving without due care and attention, regardless of the circumstances.

Really did get a fright, I'm still feeling a bit nervy, going for a drive this morning to get on top of the nerves, getting a courtesy car tomorrow so I don't want to be nervy with that!!

Years ago a 'Lady' ran into the back of my husband. He was stopped at a junction. She accused him of reversing into her lol. He had witnesses who backed him up.
He went down to the police station and reported it. She was, a Lady. The police asked if he knew who she was and did he want to go through with it? He said he didnt care who she was, she was at fault.
The 'Lady' even said that hubby must have bribed the witnesses. Silly old trout,she shouldnt have been on the road.

There wasnt a lot of damage and it got sorted out ok in the end.
