15 year old daughter asked if 4 friends could stay over tonight, 2 girls and 2 boys (1 boy gay). Said ok... boys could stay in spare room.lol.

One boys dad(?) phones to ask if it was ok because he stayed somewhere else last night and he walked out at 1am.

I said "no problem but if I was still awake at 1 am no one would be leaving".

When they all came in at 10 pm I told them under no circumstances was anyone to leave here without my say so because "x's" dad would not be happy.

He then informed me that I had spoken to his MUM. lol,

Daughter cringed (sp?) with horror and mouthed for me to leave the room!!

Urgh!

Now, shouldn't she have said when she called??

Just be sure now that if you meet her and she turns out to be a little tubby, you don't ask her when she's due. ;)

Lol....I shouldn't laugh really...glad it wasn't me lolol.

Never mind Libby, in about ten years and after many such blunders, maybe your daughter will laugh about it....mine is only just seeing the funny side of life as a teenage daughter. :-))))

Oooh Libby!! LOL
I get strange young men saying 'Hi' to me. When I ask them who they are, they reply 'I slept on your living room floor in 19XX or 20XX'!!!!

When I relay this to daughters (now aged 28 and 26) they say 'Who?'

Thats the problem/joy with having 2 daughters!!
