Hello ........I have signed and am sending the link to my friend ( who lives in Burnton , just over the hills from the beautiful Loch Doon . )

The Doon Valley is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever visited in Gt Britain . It would be a crying shame if the Salmons spawning grounds where ruined.

Hello all,

Would you all please sign an electronic petition to help save a little known river and community? The river Doon is one of the few breeding grounds in the UK for wild salmon and our government wants to destroy it by abstracting water from the river to run a hydro electric plant. The resulting lack of water will reduce the flow in the river which means that the salmon will not be able to breed there as their natural habitat will have been altered too much.
