Sorry to trick you all Liz asked me to put up a hoax as she didn't want anyone to get a drift of her plans to turn up at the Liverpool meet. Thats done my reputation now!! xxxx Liz is fine, stopped in Liverpool last night, and is there tonight.

Thanks Carole, sorry I had to ask you to fib for me lol
Didn't want Dutch to get wind of my plan to surprise her at the Liverpool meet!
I was bewailing the fact I couldn't get there, a couple of weeks ago, and to my amazement o.h. said to find an hotel and sort it all out and we could go, so that's what I did. We drove up on Friday, 6 hrs it took in all that heat and the room was fine, overlooking the Queen's Dock in Liverpool, nice and clean, and staff friendly. I toodled off to the meet on Saturdayand left o.h. to his own devices for the afternoon. At last I have met our Carolb, my cyber Sis, Carole Tinkerbell, Rambling Rose, Julie Cat, and Clairejo who was in cahoots with me to sneak up on Dutch and of course the lady herself, Dutch as well as many others so now I have faces to go with names. O.h. and I stayed over the weekend and had a lovely day looking round on Sunday, lunch out etc, and then had a couple of hours round the Albert Dock area on Monday before a further 6 hr drive home, again in stifling conditions, our car's air con. didn't work, and we hadn't realised so wasn't pleasant but got home safe and sound and he will be up for work at 5 am! Had we known how much we would enjoy Liverpool we would have arranged to stay longer and he take more holiday, but now I will look for an apartment or something, either later this year or next Spring and we will go and have a slower look round the area and Liverpool itself.
I was still around when Dianne turned up, late after having to work, so after a natter with her and Squirrel and Juliecat, I met with my o.h. and Dianne showed us a few sights. Thanks Dianne, will catch up with you soon and thanks Keith for arranging the meet .


Hope you will forgive Carole for the subterfuge!
