YIKES now I am going to have double everything as both descendants and ancestors need to be entered twice??? Surely there is some way to fix this. |

Yvonne, you will need to put your information into a family tree programme first. Most will let you merge 2 people with the same name into 1. Then you will need to import it to here as a gedcom file. Problem solved. |

I was telling one of my friends about my family tree and I said her family tree would be complicated. Her and her first husband got divorced and her second husband is the ex-husband of her ex-husband's second wife. Imagine trying to put that on a tree! |

I would add that even importing from a program such as FTM will not solve the problem entirely. I have a number of multiple relationships in my tree and whilst, yes, you can upload them, they still don't appear correctly when you look at the result on GR. |

Don't know what your multiple relationships are Brinsley, but my grandparents were cousins and it uploads perfectly from a gedcom file to here. Saves re-entering all the names twice and complicating the tree. |

Works for me too, Maggy. I've only recently reloaded a tree from a gedcom and it's uploaded fine |
