I often have a nap on mine after lunch. I find if I go to my bed for a nap I dont want to wake and get up. The mind says 'you are in bed, you sleep in bed for 8 hours' or some such. On the settee I find I wake after an hour which is usually enough to keep me going for the rest of the day. |

What puzzles me is your OH's reasoning for not napping on the sofa? |

Hi gran, does your OH never fall to sleep on his chair.Did you know that men have a switch on their backsides that makes them close their eyes when in contact with a chair .Iv'e never found it but know it's there. Anyway who owns the bl""y sofa anyway?? You have a kip on your sofa if you like , i'll make you one of my patchwork quilts just for that. Sleep tight. Luv Nina |

I`m with Ed ,Maggie and Clarejo on this one.......I HATE sitting up on sofas, they`re for relaxing on.......... I too have 2 warm throws that we sit under in the winter, not to save on the heating bills ,but just beacuse its nice to be cosy......... |

My daughters ex's mum had 'sofa' sized duvet's that she'd made - especially for her hubby and sons to use when they decided to doze on the sofa's - usually after the 'footie'!! LOL |
