Here in Oz, we have seen snippets of her performances and I have heard her sing two songs on YouTube and I wonder 'where has she been hiding all these years?'. Think of the money she might have been earning! and all she wants is to make enough to buy her house. Well good luck to her - I hope she gets her wish very soon! Her voice is beautiful.

oh that is sad, I think she didn't deserve all the negative attention she got.

Another 'media' tragedy. Why do we allow them to keep doing this? The hype around this woman was just incredible but it didn't take the media long to start their negatitive 'reporting'.

I wonder now whether Susan thinks it was all worth it ?

I hope she recovers soon and rethinks her future.

Jean.

I agree, Jean.

How the 'media' (and some of us) like to put someone on a pedestal only to shoot them down again.

She seems a real 'innocent'.

It was too much too soon, poor lady I hope she recovers but it doesn't bode well for her doing all the thinks 'thay' had planned for her to make 'them' money.

The media should leave her alone; they really do have a lot to answer for.

I hope this lady continues to wow us all, but she must be able to set the pace. All this "she must do it NOW ....." stuff that has been quoted in the newspapers, should be stopped.

Hypothetically speaking, what if she were to, God forbid, have a heart attack due to the stress of getting an album out ASAP, etc. etc.? Let her rest, media, and concentrate on something else in the world!

Well, she is in the right place. Let's hope she gets the treatment and rest that she obviously needs. They recon she'll make about 8 million this year (assuming she gets the album made)..and good luck to her I say..

Oh What a shame.
She is an ordinary normal woman who has the most amazing voice!
They picked on the few wobbles she had because of nerves at the start of the song. Susan is an amateur for goodness sake in a talent show.
All the acts had nerves and had wobbles.

The little girl who fell apart was given a second chance! I found her voice hurt my ears. not very good at all, in fact I had to put my fingers in my ears when that kid sang.gorgeous little girl maybe next year or two she will improve. Sorry to those who liked her.
Susan Boyle and Julian Smith the saxophonist were the true winners.
GET WELL SOON SUSAN.
we want to see more of you when you are better.

sadly the media has a habit of building someone up and then flattening them
