I've got 3 but only really cos they're different sizes and so that if I chop meat, then I've still got a clean one for the veg. Once they're properly washed the meat 'germs' are surely gone and you can use any for anything?! sounds like your friend has OCD tendencies maybe?

We have one chopping board , my oh does most of the cooking , he uses one side for veg and the other for meat . On the rare occasions that I prepare the food I probably use the wrong sides but I haven't given the family food poisoning so far : )

4........big wooden one I use every day
round one with a picture of a crab on it
oblong one which fits on part of my sink
square one like oblong one.....white plastic type....

only use the wooden one normally, but will use the others if I am cooking for loads and chopping different things....

I have a separate glass one for daughter she is semi vegetarian! She won't eat meat.

in the light of my visit this weekend.

I have 2 chopping boards.

One for meat.......a glass one

and one for everything else.

My friend has 7!!!!!!!

please don't ask me exactly how it pans out because I lost track BUT some are for meat, some for veg, some for onion and garlic...some only for veg.......some for bread......

Anyhow........I lost the plot in the end .......waaaaaaay to technical for me.

Soooooo question is.

How many chopping boards do you have and what are they used for? xx
