I have a Hardacre who would have been a bit long in tooth for the Boer War who also they ask did he die a war hero in WW11 but the Hardacre who did get a medal in WW1 have they asked about. As for hot matches well they do give one a clue or two but???

Hi all, I have just spent all evening answering my so called Hot Matches. Some of them had absolutely no connectioun to me at all by name, age, locality or even centuary, what are GR playing at????

Ray I have two cousins {not my cousins ~ cousins to each other} both Stephen William L both in same year but in adjoining towns ones father was Stephen one's William so birth's are sorted both went to war {WW1} one returned a hero and one died a hero both in France but I don't know which one returned to England settled in a different town and married ~ there are clues but you need to be Miss Marple to unravel them x

Just had this sent to me by the GR team

Now I have two John Smiths in my tree
neither related to the other, one died before
1849, the other was,nt born until 1912

So er, GR, what do you think !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
