I think there is one pub chain which offers the choice of a small or large plate. Can't remember which one though. |

I do wish a lot of Restaurants would do a smaller meal for us Seniors, as I find I cant eat as much these days, and hate wasting food. I generally choose a starter, but sometimes fancy a main course, but know I wont eat the lot. |

sorry but what a load of tosh! Bet they don´t measure kids in their restaurants back in China! If they have a problem with it then the solution is simple - just raise the price of the child meal! |

a Chinese restaurant in Gloucester, which is one of a chain, charges the adult rate for children who are over 140cms tall. Apparently there is a poster in the window which advertises this. I can see their point, the boy or girl may only be 10 but if they are large children some of them eat as much as an adult. However my grandson at that age was tall for his age but didn't eat as much as an adult. Not sure what the solution should be. the adult rate I think for buffet all you can eat, is £10 adult £5 child so quite a difference. |
