Dosn't it want to make you spit, the way you are treated by these bl""dy civil servants act as if they are paying you charitable money out of their own pockets. They should be reminded that they are our SERVANTS, payed out of taxpayers money. Up north, where I live we call them "Jumped up sh"t pots " who think that they are better than they are. My hubby is on DLA and we have always been payed fortnightly, we have had no comunication from them so I take it that we are now going to be payed monthly, quarterly, yearly, or whenever they see fit EEE by gum, that feels better Luv to all, Nina.

Lin, They expect you to take out an "emergency" loan from them, to cover yourself, until they sort the paperwork out!
Mad I know! But I read this on "Martin Lewis money saving tips", Shame the DWP couldnt let me know, but its always been the case that its not their job to inform us, we must find things out for ourselves!

The way they are being payed is being changed......but, have you been notified ?? Because I wasn't, and got a nasty shock yesterday when I went to the Post Office.
My D.L.A. ( Disabled Living Allowance ) was missing from my normal amount.
Even the lady at the P.O. commented on the fact that it was extrememly less than normal.
I came home and phoned the relevant office to be told....
" Oh, didn't you get a letter ? "
Er no otherwise I wouldn't be phoning..............derrrrrrrr.
Apparently the DLA ( in their infinite wisdom ) have decided that even though I have been getting this for years on a weekly basis they now pay it monthly !!!!
When I told the lady that this would seriously affect me she told me " We can still pay it weekly in exceptional circumstances ".

The outcome being I now have to wait while one department e-mails another and they will write to me !!!!
In the meantime what do I do about my finances ????
Sorry, that was a rhetorical, sarcastic question....but these flippin Government Depts really do get on my t**s !!!
So be warned this could happen to you !!!!
