Only had a nan when l was growing up, l called her gan gan, don't know why. My eldest grandson used to call my oh Gar then one day he just said grandad and always been that ever since, l'm a nan, to young to be a grandmother......... |

I had Grandad on dad's side, Nan died before I was born, and on mum's side, I had Granny and Grandpa. I adored them all, especially grandpa. I have his writing desk now, my most treasured posession. |
