Too chilly ere today for skirts.- Here's a thought - If skirts are so great (shorter ones, that is) Why don't all men wear kilts? Yep, skirts are old-fashioned for every day. Long formal evening dresses are great - When men dress up in Dinner Jacket etc .-special occasions only. TTFN.

Ooh thanks all for your replies

I've been asked to wear a skirt to a forthcoming bit of a do.

And the request came with a slight apology along the lines of - I know I'm old fashioned but they look good.

Keith - have you got one I can borrow? I'll be wearing oxfam pants underneath apparently (don't ask, he's a bit unique)

I only own 2 skirts and both of those go down to the floor lol

Wouldnt say they are old fashioned though as there are some lovely ones about now I just dont feel comfy with my legs on show.

Don't think I've worn a skirt since school Maria lol......don't like em.

I have been known to wear a summer dress on a hot day....but usually my legs remain well and truly covered for the good of society in general :0)
