As is tradition, Colorado State University issued there updated seasonal forecast. The good news is that they lowered it a bit, they now expect 11 named storms (Ana through Kate), of which 5 will reach hurricane strength and 2 of them Category 3 or higher. 'Normal' is 9.6, 5.9 and 2.3, resp., so the number of hurricanes are a tad below average |
