When I send messages to people about they tree and a person in it, I thought it would be the right thing to do REPLY to your query.

But i bet people on here don't realize that you can find out if they have looked at your posting to them and see there have not had decent to reply to your question.

WHY be on here then if you are not interested in answering people who are interested in the person on your trees.

Hello Roger. There may be many reasons why you have not had a reply, for instance..they could have died, or be away, or their computer may have broken down, or....they could be downright ignorant:-) BC

It sounds as if you can see they have opened your message, but not answered yet
Maybe they are just checking out the connection
Give them time

If you look at your sent messages to anyone, you will see that an envelope on the left it will either be closed or open.

That way you can tell if the message has been opened.

Hi all

Not sure if there is any excuse for not replying ( unless dying) to a message if it has been opened....Sometimes just takes some time but not never.
