When I visited the chocolate factory in Wales, they told us that chocolate lasts ages longer than the dates on the packets, it might get a bloom but is ok to eat. |

Chocolate that starts going white has usually been exposed to a heat source, it should be ok still tho! |

My neighbour bought Cadburys buy one get one free box of Chocs, and gave one to a friend for Christmas, and when she opened them they were going white. |

It is illegal to sell out of date goods, they should have been removed from sale. In the shop I work in we sell some convenience goods, anything wtihin 7 days of their sell by date is reduced by 50% and marked accordingly. |

Use before date. Can't be sold after that date. Best before you may sell after that date. Well that's the rule over here. |

I would contact Cadburys - I saw some boxed sweets "buy one get one free" that were out of date. I thought this was illegal???? |

Bought Cadbury`s fingers double choc -looked lovely 1/2 price , just looked at date -26th April -do you think I should return them or eat them !! |
