Went out for a friend's birthday last night. He's wanted to go out and do a bit of karaoke as he likes a good sing-song. There's not much in the way of karaoke pubs any more and we ended up in a pub we wouldn't normally go in as it's in what we would consider a dodgy part of town. But it turned out to be full of lovely friendly people who made us feel welcome and , I might add, there were some really good singers. We'll definitely be going back

So, what song do you sing when you do karaoke? Me and OH usually end up doing Don't Go Breaking My Heart by Elton and Kiki

love karaoke got my own in house we have a few pubs where i live that hold karoke every week must do my neibourghs head in me having my concerts lol oh dont have fav song will attempt anything

Crank up the karaoke Polly....we're on our way lol

We used to give involuntary concerts in the pizza shop on the way home from the pub lol Queen songs were a favourite

consider it done afternnon concert to be held at 2 pm all welcome goes off to get stage light display for artists ready

Hi Jeanette
First time I ever sang Karaoke was when on holiday in the late 1990s. Three 8yr old girls pulled me up to sing Spice Girls "Wannabe" with them. I was too busy sharing the mike with them to feel embarrassed lol

I've sang Karaoke twice since,both times "My Guy". I love that song {not too nervous after a few drinks } ;O) and always helps if,like you say, you're in a friendly crowd.

Whirley...that's a hard song to sing. Youmust have a good voice

Muffy...one of my mates did an air guitar solo last night. He got a big round of applause even though his singing was shocking lol

Mau...I've only ever done it once stone cold sober and I was shaking like a leaf! It's definitley much easier after a couple of drinks ;-))))
