Annina......I have to admit that the bruise is starting to appear ( I was thinking that I'd got away with it rather to easily.........lol ).

Anymore carry ones like that and I think I'll have to consider getting on the wagon myself ; )

Hope your bruised knees are ok Stray : )

That reminds me of the Vicar visiting a family. He said to the six yr old daughter "What a lovely cat, what do you call him?"The girl replied, "Cooking Fat" "Thats unusual, how did you think of that?"The girl replied, "Thats what Daddy called him when he tripped over him and fell downstairs"

Lol SueMaid............I'd rather write " alcohol and boats don't mix" a hundred times........as your suggestion would cause me to fib........lol

The worse thing about it was the " audience" of young folk ( who were crabbing ) on the walkway next to the boats..........but I'll give them their dues as I didn't hear them bellow with laughter at the spectacle.......lol

Yesterday I did rather a spectacular trip over . We were staying on our boat and it was lashed up along side our friends boat. My oh was fishing off the back of ours and was reeling in an eel , I in a state of high excitement , grabbed my beaker of rum in one hand and jumper in the other and much to hastily lunged to board our boat , I didn't lift my leg high enough and managed to skin my shin on the wire" stays" , which also worked as a trip wire. No free hand to break my fall.....I sprawled onto our cabin roof.....................I was very chuffed that I didn't spill a drop of my drink.............lol

I'll be more careful next time.......I hope .......lol
