Nothing like a van Dizzi. We bought a tent a few years ago then upgraded to a camper trailer (beds slide out each end) then last year we upgraded again to a proper small van. Beats a tent any day. Ours doesn't have a loo though but does have a fridge and stove and microwave and a double bed. Bliss.

Sounds like a good Bet Dizzi, as you say ,far better than a tent ,with all mod cons ,you won't know yourself ,and at that price ,if you only get three years out of it you will have done well.
We wouldn't be without ours now, no trying to get up off the sleeping mats in the morning with the bones playing hell ,proper seats to sit on ,and no worries about touching the sides of the tent and getting water in,and ,best of all ,no packing up to do ,good on yer ,and if you are in the area fell free to drop in ,plenty of nice places to go around here.Fred,[a tent to van convert] ,can't you tell lol.

Sounds like an unmissable opportunity if it's in reasonable condition and you've somewhere to store it.

Sounds like the one we bought off a neighbour several years ago, trouble was o.h. wouldn't/couldn't tow it and his dad used to take it to the site for us but he made such a song and dance, we felt beholden. We left it there for a couple of summers but as the lads got older and didn't want to go, we barely used it, o.h. was working most Saturdays so it meant some of the time I was there on my own and it was a very out of the way site, and I didn't have a car so was stranded there, also my dog died after the first year and I had felt better with her with me, when o.h. had gone to work. In the end we brought it back and stuck it in the carpark near my house but the snotty neighbour who has always had it in for me, made a fuss so we had to pay loads to store it elsewhere, didn't use it so sold it for £25 as it had deteriorated so much. We paid about £45O then so you have bargain there Gwen, grab his hand off and enjoy the comfort.

Good to talk to you the other day.
