she is sorry she hasn't been on to say thank you for her gift for which she is very grateful and humbled, but she is having some computer problems and other hiccups at the mo.

Hi Caz, good to see you around, and yes I will, just had a message from her but will send another to pass on your regards.
Hope you will feel less pain soon as you are resting more, and stop doing that hand washing so much. When I do it I always use the bathroom basin, after cleaning it first and then rinse things in the bath, put fabric conditioner into the basin with water to do the final rinse. Then I put the items as they are usually smallish, into a jug I use for hairwashing, I press down with my fist into the item in the jug and pour away the water as much as I can, and do that a few times till the item is ready to hang outside which I know you can't do or hang on the airer which I stand in the bath so the drips can run away. Been doing it like that for years as I don't have strong wrists to wring things. Didn't have a washing machine at my house when my son was small so washed all his little things by hand in the bath - went to Launderette down the street with the big stuff and bedlinen etc
