What a rotten end to the holiday. Fell sorry for people who are burgled. I am lucky it has never happened to me, but it must be such a feeling of intrusion.
Unfortunately, the police say it is more common these days, due to the economic crisis.
They will probably have to pay more for their insurance now, through no fault of their own.

Morning Dizzi,
Bl**dy Hell what a nasty shock for them!
We had our gagage and shed at other house cleaned out several times.
Each time they gave us enough time to restock and came and did it again and again!!!
Kids bikes, fishing gear, all tools
Mont only realised all the tools had gone when he went to get them to repair the damage!
Would hate it if they ever burgled the house.
Mind you as I'm here almost 24/7 they will have to get past me and the rottweiller!

That is a shame Dizzy, What a bad end to their holiday. I hope they were insured if they had valuable stuff there.
Do you mean it was your friend's transit van that obscured their door? A lesson to be learnt there if nobody could keep an eye on the place because of it.
