Gosport Report 11 Jun 2009 14:33

I'm sitting here at 01.30 (in NZ), I've been to bed once and tossed and turned for a while, I was tired when I went to bed but I can feel myself waking up as I lay there, any ideas? Regards Cherryl

Sorry to hear that Gosport, i suffer from insomnia myself and it can drag you down. The experts tell you to unwind before bed and avoid caffeine etc.

My own cure is to get up and make a hot milky drink and when i go back upstairs i find the most boring television programme to watch and set the timer most times it works and when it doesn't i just get up and read.

Mummo I was going to ask that.

One thing I find is to stay off the pc for at least 30 minutes before going to bed.
