Hi Martyn
Have done it.
When will they stop trying to close down everything in Great Britain?
That is what they are doing.

Hello all,

A SPANISH company (Scottish Power) are trying gain permission to abstract water from the river Doon in Scotland to generate electricity. The resulting lack of water will reduce the flow in the river which means that the salmon will not be able to breed there as their natural habitat will have been altered too much.

Would you all please sign an electronic petition to help save this river and local community who rely on it's existace? The river Doon is one of the few breeding grounds left in the UK for wild salmon.

Please go to:

www.savethedoon.com

Just follow the link at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to confirm your signature by way of the site sending you a conformation email. (Please be aware that this conformation message may well end up in your junk box) and your signature will only be added to the petition once you have responded to the conformation message.

By signing the petition you will be helping save the Salmon which is already in decline and save the small local community which rely on the river for their livelyhood.

Would you please ask your friends and contacts to sign the petition too?

Thank you for your help
Lord Martyn
