Yep ,it is ,grandson Luis has it for the second time in two years ,and a few of his class mates have it as well ,this is in Newcastle by the way,but i don't know if this outbreak is just local to here,Fred.

I think chicken Pox is always doing the rounds...... it seems to affect in different ways, my oldest 2 girls only had a few spots and were fine....the youngest was covered in them, and was really quite poorly, she still has a couple of scars from them now.

As Gwyn says watch out for more spots...

Hope he feeling ok with it all.

Chicken pox usually is definite blisters.
I have had a similar reaction to an insect bite, but chicken pox would likely appear on unexposed skin too.

Watch out for more spots.....

Does anyone know if its going around.Grandson got up this morning with a few large bites on his body.Tonight he has a few more.He has played in the forest latley but all of last week he had a cold and was under the weather. annie
