I usually work with 3 browser windows open.

First on GR, second on Ancestry and the third for FreeBMD or Findmypast etc.

I keep getting the problem of GR not responding after using it for a short time and have to close the browser window. When I open another browser window and come back into GR there does not seem to be a problem.

Any suggestions please would be appreciated..

I'm having trouble with trees, changing the person I'm looking at is locking it up.
Not a problem I've encountered before.

May be just one of those days ,it may be that you have no virtual memory available you may even have so much info on your puters that you need to install bigger memory.
The obvious question is when did you clear out your cookies and trash last?
Last ,but not least ,having three browsers open at once may be giving you a programme conflict, try running two to see what happens. Fred.

Thank you Brian and Fred for replying.

This has been happening for a few weeks now and was never a problem before.

Not cleared out cookies for sometime so will give that a go later today.

Thanks again

Hello, Maureen.

This site does have gremlins; I don't experience them in other sites :-)
