This is so sad

Shes just had a wart removed from her big toe & cant go to bingo for two whole days. She sits there moping & worried someone will win the top prize of 50p and a box of Ritz.

She doesn't use these boards but I will print out all your lovely messages, & will send them to her by second class post., hopefully it will reach her before she boards the number 2 bus to Mecca on Wednesday morning

i know just how she feels ....
My M.I.L. had a wart on the end of her nose ....
and every time she went to bingo she
would put a plaster on it .....but ...
the plaster always fell off ....lol

Oh Mildred you shold have said Auny Fanny had a problem before you made her have surgery, I know a good cure for warts.

You have to steal a bit of bacon from a friend (suggest you check their not veggie before raiding the fridge)

Bury said bacon in the garden & as it rots so wil the wart until it finally drops off. This should have worked & hopefully only the wart would have dropped off but if it went wrong she'd have only lost a toe & after all she has 9 more

What rotten luck that your aunty fanny cant go bingo, my thoughts are with her bingo pals~ they must miss her terribly. I will pray that this brave lady is able to walk to the No 2 bus stop on Wednesday.

Look, if you were that fond of the old dear you'd pay for a taxi for her to go to bingo tomorrow!!!

Poor old Aunt Fanny there has been a serious complication to her recovery!

Her Budgies *for anonymity we'll call him Percy" - fell off his perch and landed feet up on the cage floor.

After several ambulances turned up and six police cars arrived with flashing lights , the FBI were called in and "fowl" play has now been ruled out.

As you can understand Aunt Fanny is distraught, and has been weeping into the now empty box of Trill, which is being used fior Percys final journey.

I'm afraid this is a bit of a set back, and the prognosis is that aunt Fanny may not manage bingo on wednesday. This of course will upset her greatly

Hope she recovers soon

very sorry about Percy of course.
Only my best friends neighbours daughters grandaughter just got a canary and needs a Bird cage and some trill would Anut Fanny like to make a donation of Percys old stuff. Don't mean to be insensitive to ask before she's even buried Percy you understand,Only time is of the essence here.Damned canary flying round Sh**ting oneveryones head!

I find this thread distressing. Poor Aunt Fanny. I'll also give to the collection. A 1 pound coin I found in the bottom of my suitcase, a M & S shopping bag and a half eaten packet of Polo mints.

Don't worry, put a piece of duct tape on it. Leave it there for a few weeks, then rip it off !
