We have just come back from England where we slept on lovely, big, comfy beds but like everyone else we have had some bad experiences and have learnt from these. We have a lovely studio apartment attached to our house here in Puerto de la Cruz which we rent out. A member of GR stays in it each year for a month. We bought the best sofa bed we could find as we may have to sleep on it ourselves when we have a house full of visitors.

I think you're right Sally!
Curiously, I only get 'twinges' and not the racking pain I have at the moment, when I go camping!

Yes Maggie, we went to Lanzarote twice in one year with the same villa company........only the two of us, so I tried every bed and ended up sleeping on the sofa.......beds were like rock and my back was really playing up........and I don't have back problems......

Hi Hayley - stick of rock? LOL
Great holiday - but it rained!
Didn't dance, and I walk a lot anyway.
A 'friend' did (unkindly I thought) suggested that I had got blotto and slept awkwardly - every night we were there!!!
Very unfair don't you think?

Hello Maggie apart from your bad back did you have a good holiday and what did you bring me lol

It maybe you have been walking or dancing more than normal, when we went to vegas I suffered so much with my legs I blamed it on walking everywhere but I am convinced its because of all the contrete..

That whenever I go on holiday, the bed is sooo hard, I end up with a bad back?
This year is the worst - I can hardly move!
It's not as if I actually have 'back problems' - the rest of the year I am fine!

Does anyone else have the same problem?
