Hello Mo :) getting there lol, phone on, internet on today , a good 90% unpacked ( if not put away yet ) and a bed to sleep in ...waiting on the settee still .

Lovely garden here so have managed a bit of weeding early morning before my hay fever sets in for the day, it's chronic at the moment :(

Off to Tescos now for the dongle , a hammer and a can opener lol

LOL it did say 'Guess who' as my name but when LWH guessed it straight away I changed it in my account and it changed here .

Nice to be back, Hello and (((hugs))) to you all .
Just been to Tesco and bought a wireless thingymajig, so I now have one of those BT home hubs downstairs and we seem to be up and running!

Been here a week today and gradually getting sorted, it's a lovely house :) wish I could afford to buy it! loads of space, big rooms and...best of all.... an old fashioned pantry!

Now, what's been happening? :)

It was the owner's pride and joy Amanda and he has worked on it for 50 years , all very densely planted so looks like there will always be something new popping up. At the moment there are the most beautiful peonies and roses out, pinks and delphiniums, pansies and lots of rockery flowers :)

Hello RR - good to 'see' you again.

I always go on a slug hunt first thing in the morning to see how many of my veggies they have nibbled, and collect up the blighters that have not had the sense to move on, so far not been to bad this season! Had to do quite a lot of watering recently but rain forecast for tonight.

Hope everything continues to 'bloom'. Jx

Wow Rose : ))

When I moved into my home ( 21 years ) I new very little about gardening .

I pulled up a Peony ( it took several years of yanking up before I finally did it in ) , then I realised what I'd killed : (

I'm glad you have the knowledge and eye for beauty to appreciate the old owners " pride and joy ".

Hello J* :) Don't know about the slugs yet, but trimmed back a bit of the beech hedge and found it absolutely alive with greenfly . There is a blackbird nesting in there so hope she will eat a lot of them lol.

My mum loved her gardens Amanda and had 'greenfingers', so I inherited a bit of that luckily :) and do recognise most plants .
