thank you to every one for you kind messages for my brother he informs me that he has had trouble with his prostate for two years and did not tell any one about it . so all you men out there tell some one before it is to late. |

Somersetman, it may be ok, they will remove the cancer, and put him on female hormones injected into his stomach. The cancer is very slow growing and feeds on testosterone, so covering it with female hormones stops it's growth. You can go for years and years with that. However if it is still contained within the prostate gland, then simple removal of the gland is sufficient to sort it out. |

There is this treatment available now, I thought it was relatively new from what I had heard in the news etc but this report is dated 2001! |
