June 4 (you can select the week of June 4 to June 10, and read from the bottom up)
Mystic Misty (visiting cat): I don't think you know how talking to the spirit world works, Mr. Wilco.
Rob: Technically, that's true.
Mystic Misty: Oh ... I'm glad you can admit it.
Rob: Nobody knows how to talk to spirits ... seeing as they don't exist.
Mystic Misty: Wrong. This energy field detector clearly shows the presence of a supernatural being.
Rob: Look, forget litter boxes and basements, go hang out in Salma Hayek's shower for a few days. If you don't see a ghost there, they don't exist.

You need to read Get Fuzzy.
(I don't know whether it comes in the funnies on that side of the ocean, but I'm assuming not.)
http://comics.com/get_fuzzy/
It's from the US, but it has a Canadian sensibility, which is of course cousin to a British sensibility.
It's about Rob and his two flatmates: Bucky the cat and Satchel the dog. Bucky is a truly evil Siamese, and Bucky is a good-natured Canadian-born Labrador/Shar Pei mix. Bucky, on the other hand, claims that England and Canada do not exist. Rob is apparently a fan of both Manchester United and Manchester City, and also Top Gear. Bucky has a cousin named Mac Manc McManx, who speaks in a dialect unintelligible to US ears. Bucky is obsessed with hating monkeys and ferrets.
If you go to that link, start by clicking on the "items per page" drop-down at the top, and select "10", then read from the bottom up.
The first one (at the bottom) today goes like this:
Satchel (dog): Ooo, let's go to this Wales place!
Rob (the person): Wales is in Europe. Bucky won't let us go to Europe.
Satchel: Why?
Rob: Bucky! Tell Satchel why we can't go to Europe!
Bucky (the cat): Men in Capri pants.
Satchel: "Men in Capri pants"? Is that a code?
Bucky: No ... and yet it is indeed cryptic.
Saturday's long strip starts out:
Bucky: Ohhhh ... what unholy sequence of events hath resulted in that hairdo?!
Rob: I'm going to an animal rights fundraiser.
Bucky: ... and you thought you'd show solidarity by abusing your hair?
This week's topic is the grafitti that have been appearing on Rob's walls. Things like:
All your treat are belong to us How duz your munky checkbook!
Okay then. I think it's the funniest thing on earth these days. But it may be an acquired taste. ;)
