Just had a knock on the door and young lady standing there with a beautiful plant arrangement in a lovely pot, said they were for me, well l opened the card up and they were from head office of a cafe/ restaurant that l went into last week where my OH was taken ill (heart attack) and they offered me no help even when l asked if l could use the back door as that was closer to the carpark so l could get him to hospital they refused me saying it was company policy that the public couldn't use the back exit, well blow company policy l got on to head office a few days ago saying l was disappointed in there rules, man l spoke to was most apologetic offered me and my family a free meal, which l declined saying l wasn't after a freebie, just wish l had been given the help l needed, so as l said nice surprise to receive this. |
