Hi Everyone

Does anyone know how to scan some photos through to another GR member on this site?

I have my own scanner at home.

Your help would be much appreciated.

you would need to get THEIR Email addy, methinks and send them through that way..........A F A I Know you cant do it through the Genes' network!!

I put some photos into a site called Photobucket
From there I was able to copy and paste to GR

Forgive me for sounding a bit thick but what is photobucket please? I have never heard of it.

If you expalin a bit further for me I will try it if I can.

I will come back to the boards sometime later today as I have a pile of ironing after my holiday.

Search on Photobucket Darkie.
It's a huge site for people to store their photos.
I shifted most of mine from My Photos to Photobucket with ease, then a couple to GR board by cut copy and paste
Im no expert by a long shot and I found it easy.

Darkie, this is how you do it.

1. Scan photo into your picture file on your PC
(you will need to make a file first to put them in e.g. Granny)

2. Connect to your email and your friend´s address.

3. Use email attachment and browse your "granny" file of photos.
Select required photo and attach to email. Send off to friend.

I usually tell friend how many I´m sending.

It is easy to do. PM me if you have any problems.
