i typed in on facebook shepshed.and looked at a page i joined ages ago.the did a bit titled famous shepshedians ....

John Bradley with his monstrous whiskers was certainly a flaming character and some people swear they can spot him on the beaches in the south of England - is it Weymouth he retired to? Not sure if they see him or an apparition! Can anyone post any news of him?

Harry Commons was salt of the earth and many gardners and allotment holders still think of him with great fondness!

Who knows about Paterson and Griffin? A pint in the Pied Bull to the first person who can post on this discussion board as to who these two or maybe four characters were. In fact double pints if you can tell us about the four rather than the two!!!!!
